Privacy policy

The Tracodo app (hereby called “the app”) was built by Martin Pettersson (hereby referred to as “I” or “me”) as a free and ad supported app and is intended for use as is. This page contains information to the users of the app related to how I use any information collected from the users when using the app. If you choose to use the app you agree to the terms stated in this privacy policy.

Collection and use of information

The app never automatically collects any personal information that can be accessed by me. However, the app does use Google Analytics in order to track what pages within the app that are being used and how frequent. The app deploys AdMob advertising on some of its pages where it may or may not use an anonymous identifier. AdMob is provided by Google Inc. The anonymous identifier can be turned off in the Settings app of the device.

All other information provided within the app is stored locally on the device and cannot be accessed by me.

Logging of data

Before each public version of the app was published to the App Store it was quality tested in order to be as free from errors as possible. However, all potential errors cannot be found during such testing and the app may therefore crash at times. If this happens you have the possibility to send a crash report via Apple’s infrastructure which can reach me as a developer. This information may or may not contain sensitive and personal data and it enables me to understand the reason for the crash and to publish a possible solution to the problem. I will never use this information for any other reason than to solve the problem that caused the crash and I will never forward the information to any third party.

Support

Within the app exists the possibility to send the app’s internal database via e-mail. The e-mail address to which the database will be sent is chosen by the user each time this function is utilised. If support is requested and the database is sent to me for analysis, the database may or may not contain personally identifiable information. It is the same information that can be accessed through the app’s own user interface (including any logged trips, registered vehicles and registered locations). I will never use this information for any other reason than to solve the support issue at hand and I will never forward the information to any third party.

Children’s privacy

The app does not specifically address any person under age of 13. If I discover that any person under the age of 13 has provided me personally identifiable information I will immediately delete this information.
